About All-on-4 Dental Implants
ACE Dental of Hewitt is proud to offer the All-on-4 treatment concept from Nobel Biocare™ to help patients overcome extensive tooth loss. As a full-arch tooth replacement option, this procedure involves the placement of four or six special implants positioned at precise angles in the upper or lower arch. All-on-4 or All-on-6 implants can then provide support for a beautiful full-arch restoration appliance that offers lifelike function and appearance. When compared with other implant dentistry solutions, the All-on-4 treatment concept integrates fewer implant posts yet is still able to provide a stable, full-arch replacement option. If you are missing multiple teeth or are searching for an alternative to removable dentures, please schedule a visit at our Hewitt, TX practice. We would love to share the benefits of implants with you and help you explore this exciting tooth replacement procedure!

Are You a Candidate for All-on-4 or All-on-6?
Patients who are missing most or all of their teeth in the top and/or bottom arches may be great candidates for All-on-6 or All-on-4 dental implants. All-on-4 might also be ideal for those who need to have multiple teeth removed or who are searching for a longer-term alternative to removable appliances. Because dental implants bond with the jaw, they are able to provide a more stable replacement option that can allow patients to eat a wider variety of foods and enjoy an attractive, confident smile. In many instances, All-on-4 implants can be a good choice, even if bone loss in the jaw has occurred, making them appropriate for many men and women. Implants may not be recommended for tobacco users or those with certain health issues.
What Is the Treatment Process?
We will implement advanced cone beam technology to take 3D images and scans of your jaw. The ACE Dental of Hewitt team can then develop your personalized treatment plan, explain the procedure, and talk with you about the option of nitrous oxide sedation. On the day of your procedure, we will numb your mouth and skillfully place four or six implants at specific locations in your jaw. A temporary (yet functional) full-arch set of replacement teeth will likely be connected to your implants the same day. Your All-on-4 or All-on-6 implants will be given a few months to fuse with your jawbone. After this occurs, our dentists will design a custom restoration and attach it to your dental implants for a natural-looking, attractive smile result.
Recovery Following All-on-4 or All-on-6
Following your All-on-4 or All-on-6 procedure, you might have some swelling or tenderness in your jaw. You can use over-the-counter pain analgesics and apply cold packs to your face to help relieve any discomfort. Instructions on how to care for your implants and full-arch restoration will be provided by a member of our team. It is essential to attend routine dental cleaning and exam visits at our Hewitt, TX practice to help keep your oral tissues and implants in good condition. During your cleaning visits, our hygienists will use specially designed instruments to clean your implants and evaluate the health of your gums and jawbone surrounding your tooth replacement.
Insurance Coverage for Implants
A portion of the All-on-4 or All-on-6 implant procedure may be covered under select dental insurance plans. Though there will likely be some out-of-pocket costs, we will advocate on your behalf to help you get the most from your coverage. At ACE Dental of Hewitt, we want to make caring for your smile as easy as possible and offer several affordable payment options, including special medical financing.
